At present, the Vinnytsia Region is
one of the largest agricultural and
industrial, cultural and historical
regions of the independent state of
Ukraine.
The new region was founded on
the 27th of February in 1932 and its
territory makes up 4.5 per cent of the
territory of state.
It is situated in the central part of the
RightBank Ukraine and borders upon
seven regions of Ukraine.
To the southwest of Vinnytchina,
along the river Dniester, the area of
202 kilometres presents the frontier
with the Republic Moldova.
According to the administrative division,
the territory of the region consists of
27 districts and the regional centre
consists of 3 municipal districts.
The population of Vinnytchina is about
2 million people.
Nowadays, Vinnytchina is a region of
industry and highly mechanized agri
culture, with a scientific basis.
During the two recent years
Vinnytchina became one of the 5 best
regions of independent Ukraine on
gross output.
According to the gross output of agri
cultural production, the region takes
the second place in the state.

На сьогодні Вінницька область най
більша сільськогосподарська
і промислова, культурна й істори
чна область незалежної України. Нова область була заснована 27 лю
того 1932 року, і її територія скла
дає 4,5 % території держави. Вона розташована в центральній ча
стині правобережжя України
і межує з сімома регіонами
України.
На південному заході від Вінниці, уз
довж ріки Дністер протягом 202 кіло
метрів, проходить кордон з Респуб
лікою Молдова.
Відповідно до адміністративного
розподілу територія регіону склада
ється з 27 районів, а обласний центр
складається з трьох міських районів.
Населення Вінничини складає біль
ше 2 млн чоловік.
Зараз Вінничина є областю промисло
вості і високомеханізованого сільсько
го господарства з науковою базою.
За останні два роки Вінничина ста
ла однією з п’яти кращих областей
незалежної України за випуском
валової продукції.
За випуском сільськогосподарсь
кої продукції область посідає друге
місце в країні.
